Ry and I hit the Tulsa Flea Market this weekend. We found these lovely prints by Tomi Ungerer who has done all sorts of wonderful cartooning and illustration for publications like the New York Times. We suspect they were removed from a book collection of his work. (Which is not a bad idea if you are wanting to cheaply put together some artwork to update your walls.)We purchased five prints- one for the living room and four to arrange together in our dining room.
I just love how playful they are. They each have his sketching around real objects to make a new scene. So creative! A typewriter for a hippo's teeth!
