There is Gruyere in the Air or Did you know there was a World Championship Cheese Contest?

Ryan and I dropped by Whole Foods to pick up some cheese for the baked quinoa with spinach and cheese recipe Ry found from the New York Times (We've dubbed it cheesy quinoa casserole.).

The lovely and enchanting cheese saleswoman at Whole Foods made cheese sound even more romantic than I already felt it was by describing the taste, texture and history of this cheese, and then adding just what I, the ultimate American consumer loves to hear: this cheese is the best.

Fact: Swiss Gruyere Reserve won the 2010 World Championship Cheese Contest.
