Be Like the Fox

I grabbed my steamed up iphone out of its place tucked
into my sports bra and snapped a photo.
Recently, I saw a fox while running on Riverside. It rustled out of the brush and so did a line from a poem I loved in college:

"Be like the fox
who makes more tracks than necessary,
some in the wrong direction.
Practice resurrection."

Thank you Wendell Berry for this perfect visual of fearless living and personal renewal. See his entire poem here.
